The collection consists of reports, concert programs, articles, schedules, flyers, correspondence, and photographs pertaining to performances of music on the Princeton University campus and performances elsewhere by University-affiliated groups.

- Acquisition:
The bulk of this collection was transferred to Mudd Library from Firestone Library, where it was previously part of the Theater Collection, in 1997. Several donations of additional materials directly to Mudd Library have occurred subsequently, the most recent in 2008.
- Accruals
Occasional donations of additional materials are expected indefinitely.
- Appraisal
Appraisal has been conducted in accordance with Mudd Library guidelines.

This collection was processed and the finding aid contents updated by Alina Serafini, and EAD and MARC records were updated by Christie Peterson in November 2010.
