- Scope and Contents
The Ivy Council records document the group's activities from 2013 to 2016. The records contan minutes and agendas from meetings, budget information, Ivy Policy Conference planning documents and reports, election information, and other administrative records.
- Arrangement
The collection is arranged into three series: Administrative Files, Ivy Policy Conference, and Elections. Folders within each series retain their originial order as when transferred to the University Archives.

The Ivy Council, founded in 1993, is a non-profit organization comprised of student leaders from all eight Ivy League universities. Its mission is to promote inter-campus communication and collaboration between the student governments of its member schools. The Ivy Council provides a platform to build a unified voice representing the diverse student bodies of the Ivy League through various conferences and programs.

The records were transferred to the University Archives in April of 2016 as part of the Archiving Student Activism at Princeton (ASAP) initiative (AR.2016.029).

- Physical Characteristics and Technical Requirements
For preservation reasons, original analog and digital media may not be read or played back in the reading room. Users may visually inspect physical media but may not remove it from its enclosure. All analog audiovisual media must be digitized to preservation-quality standards prior to use. Audiovisual digitization requests are processed by an approved third-party vendor. Please note, the transfer time required can be as little as several weeks to as long as several months and there may be financial costs associated with the process. Requests should be directed through the Ask Us Form.
