Title from manuscript caption on recto. In the foreground, a Native American man, facing right, is playing a flute for a woman. The man has his hair in braids which are hanging down in back of him. He has on a dark shirt with a light floral pattern on it, both of his sleeves are rolled up to above his wrists. The flute he is playing has decorative ribbons or thongs on it. The man has a light-colored blanket around his waist, part of which hangs down to below his knees, another part hangs down to the ground. The woman is wearing a light-colored blanket high up on the back of her head. She is barefoot. Behind the fence on the right side is a large building that appears in plate #032 and plate #033 as Craggs Store.
