- Description:
Consists of research materials of faculty members of Princeton University's Department of Near Eastern Studies, most likely Philip Khuri Hitti (1886-1978) who served as department chair from 1926 to 1954, and/or his son-in-law, R. Bayly Winder (1920-1988)(M.A. and Ph.D from Princeton), who taught at Princeton in the same department until the early 1960s. Two main file groups include photocopied materials relating to Jurji Zaydan (Georgie Zeidan) (1861-1914), mostly professional and personal correspondence, and Aramco records, primarily Arabian Research Division, Government Relations Division, translations of Current Affairs Radio Broadcasts.
