A group of photographs and negatives, primarily of sculptures by Joseph Brown. Joseph Brown was boxing coach as well as an instructor in scupture in the Creative Arts Program, later the Visual Arts Program, at Princeton University. The photographs also include images of Brown's studio space, and of Brown at work. Sculptures pictured include human nudes, busts, and athletes in action (football, baseball, wrestling, dance). Both small and large format photographs are included, some in mats. This group of photographs was taken by Bill Gregory '71. One earlier photograph of Brown with two of his sculptures was taken by Edward Rothe in 1945 or 1946.
