The Digital Files series is composed of materials relating to the academic, financial, and general administration of the University. The files in this series were created and maintained by the Office of the President as a networked shared drive. It contains six subseries that each reflect different aspects of the president's tenure. Materials in this series might otherwise duplicate content in the paper records, but in many cases the content of the Digital Files series is unique and does not overlap with other series. See subseries descriptions for more detailed information on their holdings.

The Digital Files series is arranged alphabetically into six subseries. To improve access to materials, the accessioning archivist created each subseries in the Digital Files series. However, all folders, subfolders, and files within each subseries maintain their original arrangement and hierarchy as they arrived to the archives. 49 files that were not located in a folder were placed into the folder labeled, Miscellaneous, 2006-2013. In constructing the subseries titles, efforts were made, where possible, to mirror the subseries titles represented in the paper-based series. A directory print, which records the original arrangement of the entire accession, is available upon request.

Description:

The Digital Files, February 2015 Accession contains digital records created and used on President Tilghman's desktop computer. Taken together, the series provides a rich insight into key administrative and academic initiatives undertaken by President Tilghman during her tenure.

The Digital Files, February 2015 Accession series is arranged in the original order at the time of transfer.

Description:

Consists of websites containing general information about Shirley M. Tilghman and the Working Group on Campus Social and Residential Life.

The files are maintained in the order in which they were transferred to the University Archives.
